Fall 2021

Wellness for disabled communities.

Wellness spaces routinely overlook the needs of disabled people. For this grant round, we're honored to support these ten leaders who are redefining access to care – including sexual wellness, embodied movement, community gatherings, mutual aid, and more – for their communities.
Summer 2021

Trans, nonbinary and gender-nonconforming wellbeing.

Creating inclusive spaces for the trans, nonbinary and gender-conforming population isn't merely about representation, but thoughtfully curated spaces and intentional leadership. We're inspired by these ten leaders, each holding space for themselves and their communities.
SPRING/SUMMER 2021

COVID-19 Relief Aid

The onslaught of the pandemic shattered the economic infrastructure of the wellness community. Many wellness leaders found themselves out of employment, with facilities shuttered and physical gatherings on hold indefinitely. Unlike other grant rounds, which weigh the effectiveness and ingenuity of leaders in our consideration process, these relief funds were distributed on a rolling basis. We granted based on the amount of monthly revenue lost to COVID-19, which was defined by the applicant.

From March – August 2020, we granted $169,080 in emergency relief to 101 wellness leaders. Recipients of this grant were kept anonymous to protect their privacy. These funds were raised by both individuals and corporations on GoFundMe.
SPRING 2021

Innovative approaches to care.

To kick-off our 2021 year of granting, we opened a grant round without a population or modality focus to hear from innovative leaders making wellness more accessible in their own way. The work of these grantees redefines what wellness looks like in form and practice.
